About Me

Hey, I’m Ethan! I was born and raised down in Sacramento and moved out to Reno to pursue college here at UNR. Currently I’m following in my fathers footsteps and pursuing a business finance degree in the hopes of getting a solid, well-paid job come the end of college. Currently I work in a sales position for a large pest control company but I’m hoping to move towards financial advising in the future. I’m really big in to community service as well, working in things like the Reno burrito project which provides food for the homeless here in the Reno area as well as the ability experience which raises money and puts on events for the physically disabled.

Pi Kappa Phi

I’m also a member of the fraternity Pi Kappa Phi. These are some of my pledge brothers from last semseter when we were still earning our spot in the fraternity. This was one of the many philanthropy events we attended in support of the sororities around campus. It was about a month later we would finally initiate and become full fledged brothers. Hands down though some of the greatest guys I’ve ever met. Pi Kapp is also a big part of how I do my community service. Collectively we’ve raised nearly $11,000 for our fraternity’s charity in just the past month!

Tahoe

Tahoe is by far one of my favorite places to go and somewhere I always go to do paddleboarding and boating when I get the chance. These are some of my friends from the very first weeks of the school year. It was our first big trip up to lake tahoe together and one of the most fun I’ve had. I’m still going up to lake Tahoe even now and my fraternity often goes up every week once the summer heat hits.

Athletics

A big part of my life has also been my athletics. Back in highschool I was a big track and field athlete, going to state multiple times for the mile, 800, 4×800 and more. I still stay in contact with a lot of the guys from back when I ran and even though most of us are spread across the country running for various D1 universities. Every once in a while we get together in Reno for the occasional holiday though so it’s always nice to get to see each other again. Besides just track I also do a lot snowboarding in the winter with my friends. I’ve been at it for a couple years and break up with paddleboarding in lake Tahoe come summer time.
